Infinity Partnership joins AMS Group as we continue to strengthen our presence in Scotland
Infinity Partnership has joined AMS Group, marking a significant step in our Scottish growth strategy and strengthening our presence in Aberdeen.
The combination will see Infinity Partnership become AMS’s Scottish platform, establishing Aberdeen as a key hub within the Group and building on Infinity’s strong base of 300 and long-standing regional relationships. The move reflects AMS’s strategy of building strong regional hubs by partnering with high-quality firms that share its values and client-first approach. AMS and Infinity have an established working relationship, having delivered successful outcomes together across a number of engagements, including complex audit projects.

Infinity’s founder, Simon Cowie, will remain with the business as the Aberdeen Managing Director, continuing to lead the team locally alongside AMS’s Regional Managing Partner, Steven Fraser. Simon will also continue to play a key role in the future of the combined business as it develops in Scotland, supported by Wendy Atkinson as Director of Growth and Partnerships (Scotland).
Steven said: “This is an important step in building our presence in Scotland. Infinity is a well-established firm with a strong reputation for investing in its client relationships and building long-standing partnerships with the businesses it supports. Bringing the business into AMS gives us a solid platform to grow from in the region.
“The deal is part of AMS’s wider strategy of growing its regional presence by acquiring established firms with strong local reputations and trusted client relationships.”
Simon added: “We’ve built Infinity over the past 15 years into a strong, relationship-led firm, and it was important to find the right partner for the next stage. AMS brings additional scale and capability, which will benefit both our team and our clients, while allowing us to retain what has made Infinity successful.
“I’m very much looking forward to continuing to lead the business locally and building on what we’ve already created as part of AMS. Having worked closely together over the past year, it quickly became clear that there is a strong cultural fit between the two firms. Combined with AMS’s specialist capabilities, this felt like a natural next step for the business.
“I’m confident this will be a real success for both our team and our clients.”
This partnership reflects AMS’s ambition to build a strong, scalable platform in Scotland, with continued investment in people, capability and client service.
